The are the fictional central antagonists of the 2002 ''Kamen Rider Series'', ''Kamen Rider Ryuki''. In the ''Kamen Rider'' universe, Mirror Monsters are man-eating monsters that exist within the Mirror World and much of the series focuses on their partnership with the Kamen Riders. The various related characters and plot events are described below using in-universe tone. ==Fictional history== The Mirror Monsters are entities created by Yui Kanzaki as drawings made by her and her brother Shiro when they were young, given life by Yui's mirror-self. As these creatures have no true life of their own, they prey on human lifeforce to survive. The only people they do not attack are Shiro and Yui, whom they obey absolutely. Any rogue Mirror Monsters who attack them are countered by Kamen Rider Odin or a loyal Mirror Monster who serves Shiro. However, the majority of the monsters are contracted allies and the power source for most of the thirteen Kamen Riders, building their power by absorbing the energy of other defeated Mirror Monsters.
